    EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SR-2110 3 INSTALLATION WARNINGS AND ALERTS Radio Frequency energies There may be situations, particularly the workplace environments adjacent to high-powered RF sources, where recommended limits for safe exposure of human beings to RF energy could be exceeded. In such cases, restrictive measures or actions may be necessary to ensure the safe use of RF energy.

    Humidity has an effect on the reliability of the equipment. It is recommended to install the equipment in location having stable temperature and un-restricted air-flow. SR-2110 equipment has been designed to operate at the temperature range from -20° c to +40° c with relative humidity at ≤95%.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURES 3.3.1 GOODS INWARDS INSPECTION The SR-2110 was factory tested, inspected, packed, and delivered to the carrier with utmost care. Do not accept shipment from carrier which shows damage or shortage until the carrier' s agent endorses a statement of the irregularity on the face of the carrier' s receipt. Without documentary evidence, a claim cannot be processed.

    Fig 6: Wall mounting overview 3.3.6 DRIP-LOOP Comba recommends that every horizontal cable entry to the equipment forms a ' U' before its entry to the equipment. Any accumulated water on the cable will drip down at the bottom of the loop and will not climb up to the equipment.

    EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SR-2110 4.3.2 OMT SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Refer to appendix C for installing OMT software. After installing OMT software on the PC, connection to the equipment can be done locally or remotely. Equipment management concerns inspecting and changing the parameters – i.e. set-up and remove connection and track the repeater.

    Generally failure is caused due to: radio signal (poor radio signal), equipment (module failure) and site (power, over temperature). The Alarm list for the SR-2110 is shown below; these are enabled/disabled with OMT by ticking the adjacent box against the required alarm condition and select [Config].

Data maintenance assists the transfer of configuration data to accelerate the equipment installation and commission cycle. 4.3.7.1 Config Data export Select [Config Data Export] from the [Data Manager] menu in the OMT main window to export equipment configurable parameters and save it as text file.

    EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SR-2110 REMOTE MONITORING USING OMC OMC offers flexibility to manager a network of equipment, all the tasks carried out by the OMT can performed centrally from the OMC terminal. In order for OMC to communicate with each equipment, unique equipment identification must be referred to, and it is entered using OMT after local commission has been completed.

    EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SR-2110 APPENDIX B: OMT INSTALLATION AND UN-INSTALLATION Operation and Maintenance Terminal (OMT) is windows-based software designed for the control and maintenance of OFR-B09. Installed in a PC, it performs the operation on the repeater either by local connection via RS-232 cable or remote connection via line/ wireless modem.
