SP-9120 is designed for indoor or sheltered outdoor operation in the GSM900 band. Its band- specific linear amplifier effectively amplifies the desired BTS carriers and IF filtering provides superior out-of-band rejection.

The repeater is designed for indoor installation and operation. Installation location Mounting surface shall be capable of supporting weight of the equipment, allow 2Kg for the SP-9120 equipment. Physical location should be able to achieve signal strength of better than -70dBm from the BTS antenna, and the MT antennas should provide the required coverage.

3.3 INSTALLATION PROCEDURES 3.3.1 GOODS INWARDS INSPECTION This SP-9120 was factory tested, inspected, packed, and delivered to the carrier with utmost care. Do not accept shipment from carrier which shows damage or shortage until the carrier's agent endorses a statement of the irregularity on the face of the carrier's receipt. Without documentary evidence, a claim cannot be processed.

EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SP-9120 3.3.4 ANTENNA CONNECTION The equipment is equipped with an integrated antenna (6dB gain) which has already been connected to the “Antenna Port”. The optional external antennas can be used for extended signal coverage. The preparation for use with external antenna is listed below: Remove the front cover by disengaging the latch located at the bottom of the equipment.

EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SP-9120 3.3.5 WALL MOUNTING Locate and prepare two holes spaced apart by 45mm. Depending on the mounting surface, two ф6 wall plugs may be needed, insert and tighten two self-tapping screws into the wall plugs, leave the screw heads protruding by about 5mm.

EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SP-9120 3.3.6 DRIP-LOOP Comba recommends that every horizontal cable entry to the equipment forms a 'U' before its entry to the equipment. Any accumulated water on the cable will drip down at the bottom of the loop and will not climb up to the equipment.

EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR SP-9120 5 SYSTEM MAINTENANCE The SP-9120 repeater is designed for trouble free operation and generally does not need maintenance. Maintenance activities should only be carried out by trained personnel. During operation, if the LED “ALARM” is generated ON, first check the AC power cable and verify AC mains supply is normal.
