1. Slide the pointed end of the cable tie through the top opening in the push mount.
2. Snap the push mount through the top hole and toward the DL8700 as shown in the above
figure.
3. Place the cable (power, COM port) over the tie and lift up the pointed end of the tie. Slide
it through the narrow opening at the top of the cable tie, keeping the serrated sides
together.
4. Slide the tail of the cable tie closed until cables are snug.
To mount the DL8700 to the vehicle follow the procedure below.
Step 1 - Mount bottom mounting bracket to vehicle.
1. Position the bracket to allow access to the switches and ports on the bottom of the
DL8700.
2. Attach the bottom mounting bracket to the vehicle mounting surface using six 1/4 bolts
(or equivalent) fasteners.
Note: 1/4 Bolts not included.
Important:
Mount to the most rigid surface available.
After the bottom bracket has been attached to a rigid, horizontal surface, you are ready to
assemble the DL8700 bracket configuration.
Step 2 - Connect DL8700 To Back Mounting Bracket.
