    Adding Initial Change Load 1. Enter the required PIN: 3333, 2. Touch the Monetary menu bar on the screen. 3. Touch the Coins In/Out menu Bar 4. Increase the amount of Change Available by inserting coins to thru the chute on the top of the coin mech. Totals (count and value) for each coin should increase as coins are added.

    Main Menu Screen Features The Main Menu allows your customer to view promotions when enabled and view nutritional facts when a Product Library or Planogram is present by pressing the apple icon If multiple Languages are enabled a change Language icon will be shown on the top of the section screen.

    Driver Menu If PIN 1111 was entered and No Errors Exist, the home screen for the Driver menu will appear. This menu allows limited access to the service modes. Touching an icon or Menu bar on the screen will provide access to that menu. Driver access allows you to: Data Recall - View sales data.

If a Planogram has been loaded into the machine, an image, price and selection number for each selection will be shown.

  • Page 14 Monetary Menu The Monetary menu allows the operator/technician access to program the settings for all credit devices and related functions. To access this menu touch Monetary on the screen. There are three separate screens associated with the Monetary menu, to switch between the screens, press the up or down arrow located at the top and bottom right of the screen.
  • Page 15 Monetary Menu (continued) Bill Acceptance When Bill Acceptance is selected, all denominations the validator is capable of accepting will be shown. Select the value on the display to select or unselect the bill/note denominations you wish to accept or not accept. The switches on the 5.00 Validator must also be enabled.
  • Page 16 There are three menu Bars as shown on the right for card reader and/or cashless options. There are two menus for MDB card reader and one for an onboard reader. MDB is an add on card reader that plugs into the MDB harness in the machine. Your options in this menu are MDB card reader or no MDB card reader.
  • Page 17 Show Currency Symbol Select the menu item for Show Currency Symbol to turn it on or off. When turned on the currency symbol will display when applicable. Decimal Separator Select this menu item to change the decimal point that is displayed to a comma. Correct Change Parms Select this menu item to gain access to set the payback parameters in the machine.
  • Page 18 Low Change Message Used to set the lowest amount registered in the coin mechanism before the display shows “USE EXACT CHANGE” Select Low Change Message to enter lowest value on corresponding line (default setting of $1.00 recommended).   • Page 20 Cash Totals When Cash is selected in either Non-Resettable or Resettable menus, a new screen will display the value and number of cash sales. After viewing the data, press back to go back to the previous screen, or press Home to go to the main menu. Cashless Sales Data When cashless is selected, it will display the value and number of cashless transactions by vend type including Revalue if applicable.

Last Data Clear, Last Vend, Last Price Change, Last Clock Set, and Last Health Control Event data will display automatically.

    Identification Numbers This menu item when selected, will display the identification numbers for all devices attached to the controller via the MDB communications harness. System Settings Menu The System Settings menu allows the operator/technician to program the overall system functions. Select the System Settings menu item to gain access to the options.
  • Page 25 Machine Information Machine Information menu is used to set the machine’s ID and Location. When selecting either option, an alpha keypad will be displayed for the operator/technician to designate the Machine ID or Location. Select the back button to return the previous screen.
  • Page 26 Language The Language menu allows you to customize the Languages available to your customer. As shown to the right, you can enable multiple Languages at one time. The Language used in the service menus can also be changed and are independent of the customer languages set. To change the language options, select Language from the menu.
  • Page 27 System Settings – Custom Messages This menu gives the operator/technician the option to create and enable messages for both the Idle Screen and the Vending Screen independently. Select the Custom Message option to create, change or assign a Custom Message. Selecting either of the two options will expand the menu to show what the current message is.
  • Page 28 Screen Renewal Use this menu item to refresh a screen where the images that have blurred or experience image retention from one screen to another. When selected, the screen will go white for 2 hours and prompt Screen renewal in progress, at the end of 2 hours the machine will go back to the normal Idle Screen Messages.
  • Page 29 Backup/Restore This menu Item allows the operator/technician to backup current Configurations for recovery later if needed. It also allows the board to be restored to factory defaults, restore machine to previously saved configuration. Backup files are saved with the date created and are stored on the controller not a removable memory device. Clone Configurations / Clone Board This menu allows you to copy a machine that has previously been set up and save that file on a flash drive.
  • Page 30 Clone Configurations/Clone Board (continued) After Selecting Clone Configuration or Clone Board, you will be prompted to create the clone, press Create clone on USB drive, and then you will need to create a name for the file, when you select Clone Name a keyboard will appear for you to use to create the name.
  • Page 31 Advertisements This menu allows the user to turn on and off messages that display to the consumer during the idle screen loop and during the vending process. You will find an extensive list of preprogrammed advertisements and promotions to select. Custom advertisements can be loaded and enabled. Advertisements are updated from the server or via a USB.
  • Page 32 Data Transfer Standard (DTS) This Menu allows you to change what data is sent and control what data is reset on a DEX or DDCMP transfer. The defaults for these menus are the standard settings and are typically not changed. Before making changes, you may want to contact your DEX provider or your Manufacturer Representative.

    Test Menu The test menu give the operator/technician the opportunity to test almost every component in the machine. To use this menu select Test, scroll using the up/down arrows to view all features in the test menu. Screen Test This menu item when selected will initiate a screen test. During the test the screen will illuminate different colors, to end the test simply touch the screen to return to the menu.
  • Page 35 Refrigeration Test The Refrigeration Test menu will let you test the refrigeration system, but it will also let you view the temperature reading at the four temp sensors located in the machine. Coin Return Motor Test Use this menu item to test the functionality of the Coin Return Motor NFC/MagTek Head Test This menu item allows the operator/technician to test the Mag Head in the Onboard Card reader.
  • Page 36 Test Vend Use this menu item to test vend selections in the machine. Select Test Vend then Select Test Single Product. Select which tray the selection is on that you wish to test, and then select the item number to be tested. Scroll down to Start Test to initiate the test.
  • Page 37 SureVend Calibration Use this menu item to test the SureVend sensors. When selected the display will show the value and state of each of the nine sensor that make up the SureVend system. If you pass an object between the emitter and receiver, the value will change and the state will show Blocked.

    Product Configuration Product Configuration provides access to the following modes in the machine: Selection Configuration This menu item will allow the user to initiate a function that will automatically configure all motors detected in the machine. Each motor can be configured manually as well. Select the Perform Auto configuration to have the machine automatically scan and configure all of the motors.
  • Page 39 Remove Product Library This menu item when selected will allow the user to remove the existing product library. When selected, a confirmation message will appear. Select Yes to remove the library, select No if you do not want to remove the library. Note: The Library cannot be removed locally if it was loaded to the board remotely (over the air from the server).
  • Page 40 STS/FIFO (continued) Auto FIFO UPC If Auto FIFO it toggled to ON, the machine controller will look at the UPC/EAN codes assigned to the selection and tie any like codes together automatically. ADD Group Use this menu item to create or add selections to a STS Group. When selected, the user will first be prompted to choose a tray.

    Option SureVend When the machine is set to Option SureVend, if the SureVend stops working, the machine will stay operational and the spirals will only make on cycle. Must SureVend When the machine is set to Must SureVend, if the SureVend stops working, the entire machine will be out of service. Antijackpot Timer The antijackpot timer default time is 10 minutes.
  • Page 42 Alternative Vending When selected this menu item will allow the operator/technician the option to hide pricing and cart totals as well as to empty the shopping cart upon failure of a transaction. To activate either option, touch the item on the screen to toggle on or off.
  • Page 43 Winner Mode (continued) Mode This menu item is used to set either Winner or Prize. When set to Winner, the customer will receive their money back based on the frequency set. When set to Prize, another menu item will appear on the display and they will receive that item as well.
  • Page 44 Combo Vend (continued) To set up Combo Vend, select Add New Combo Promotion. Then you will select Groups in Promotion. You can choose to have 2 or 3 selections as part of a combo vend group. Touch Number of Groups in Promotion to toggle between 2 and 3.
  • Page 45 To add all selections on the tray to the group Touch Set All. To remove all selections on the tray from the group Touch Clear All. Touch any selection number to add or remove a checkmark from that selection. A checkmark means that selection will be active for the Combo Vend group.

    Security Codes This menu item will allow the operator/technician the ability to change the PINs that to gain access to the Service menus. If the Pin is changed there is no way to recover the pin in the case it is forgotten. Enter PIN This is the PIN that you use to access the other menus.

    Telemetry The Telemetry Menu is used to set up the Integrated Wireless Radio, Cashless, Remote DEX Alerts, Mesh Network. The Telemetry Menu also allows you to send a DEX file on demand in addition to the scheduled times. Driver Cards are available to send a DEX read when servicing the machine or you can send a DEX from this menu or the Driver Menu (pin 1111) has a Send DEX icon.

    Diagnostics Touching the Diagnostics Icon will cause the Diagnostics screen to appear. This screen will show any existing errors along with time and date the errors occurred. The Icon will be Red when there are errors, otherwise it will be gray. The Diagnostics screen automatically appears when entering the service mode if errors exist.
  • Page 50 Helpful Tips Not all events will have the same menus. As an example, a Price Adjust Event will have a discount feature that a Power or Backup event would not have. In some cases, some menus will not be present until another menu is enabled. Events are settable daily or weekly.
  • Page 51 Inhibit  The Inhibit menu allows you to set times and/or day(s) when specific selections or all selections in the machine are not available for purchase.  You can set multiple Inhibit events per day if necessary.  The menu bars on the right contain all the options that need to be set up for your event and may change depending on your selections.
  • Page 52 Power Saving Events  The Power Saving Events Menu allows you to create events where the lighting will turn off to save energy.  This Menu allows you to program the time and day or days, you wish the Power Saving Events to be active.
