Every 1000 hours

Hydraulic fluid and filter(s)

Change the hydraulic fluid and filter after 1000 hours of operation. If a major component of the system has been
replaced or rebuilt, change the filter after the initial 10 hours of operation.
Always replace the hydraulic filter whenever the warning lamp
at normal operating temperature.
1.
For a complete hydraulic system fluid change, per-
form the following:
Operate the hydraulic controls until hydraulic
fluid is near operating temperature.
Park the machine on a level surface.
Loader bucket flat on the ground.
Retract all cylinders.

Turn engine off.
3.
Clean the areas around the hydraulic reservoir cap,
the hydraulic reservoir drain plug, and the hydraulic
filter.
4.
Slowly remove the fill cap (1) for the hydraulic reser-
voir.
5.
Place a suitable container under the drain plug (2) for
the hydraulic reservoir and slowly remove the drain
plug.
6.
Allow the fluid to completely drain.
7.
Turn the hydraulic filter counter-clockwise to remove.
Use a filter removal tool, if necessary.
8.
Lubricate the gasket on the new filter with clean oil.
9.
Install the new filter and turn clockwise until the gas-
ket makes contact with the filter head assembly.
10.
Continue to tighten the filter for 1/3 turn.
11.
Dispose of the filter and collected fluid in accordance
with local, regional, and federal regulations.
12.
Install the hydraulic reservoir plug.
13.
Fill the hydraulic reservoir to specification.
14.
Replace the reservoir fill cap.
