Introduction Congratulations on your new GT-300AUS leveller from Fransgård. The GT-300AUS is a towed leveller that, due to its very powerful construction, can handle very difficult levelling and maintenance tasks, as well as clearing snow. This manual describes all the relevant and important things to be done before, during and after taking the leveller into operation.
Intended use The GT-300AUS is designed for levelling gravel roads and fields, as well as clearing snow and ice and must not be used for any other purpose. It is the owner's and user's responsibility to ensure that no persons or other objects can be injured or damaged when the machine is in use.
Tilting the blade The GT-300AUS is also fitted as standard with a hydraulic swivel joint between the wheels and the blade, which allows the user to tilt the blade approximately 20 either side, thereby placing more material in one of the sides.
Lubrication The GT-300AUS is fitted with lubrication nipples in all the various moving parts. As all moving parts, except the wheels, are plain bearings/bushings with a low speed of movement, it is recommended to use LGEM grease containing molybdenum to give the product a longer life.
The wear steel is factory fitted with bolts in steel grade 12.9 Tyres The GT-300AUS is fitted with two 400/60-15.5 tyres as standard. The recommended tyre pressure is approximately 50 PSI. Check tyre pressures regularly to ensure the longest possible tyre life.
Assembling the machine The GT-300AUS leveller is, in most cases, partially assembled at the factory so that the main frame and blade are assembled with the associated hydraulic cylinder and hoses. The same applies to the slewing bearing and wheel suspension.
point hitch. If you have purchased the hydraulic lateral displacement after your leveller has been delivered, the stop bolt must be removed as described earlier. (See Photo 5. The swivel link is fitted by passing the axle of the swivel bracket through the bush on the second pivot, then tightening the crown nut and fitting the split pin.
