Checking environmental conditions and
mounting space
The mechanical and electrical environmental conditions at the installation site must
be within the limits described in the technical data.
- Avoid installation in dusty, damp places.
Avoid places susceptible to rapid temperature variations, powerful vibrations and
shocks, surge voltages of high amplitude and fast rise time, strong induced magnetic
fi elds or similar extreme conditions.
- Check that suffi cient space is available.
To allow access for maintenance and future modifi cations a suffi cient space is
needed in front and at side of the relay.
- Suitably qualifi ed personnel with adequate knowledge of the apparatus must carry
out all the installation operations.
- The relay should be disconnected before carrying out any work on relay.

Mounting the relay

The relay is available in two mounting version:
• Flush (panel) mounting
• Breaker mounting
