1.4 Disposal

• Dispose of faulty rechargeable batteries and spent batteries in accordance
with the valid legal specifications.
• At the end of its useful life, deliver the product to the separate collection
point for electric and electronic devices (observe local regulations) or return
the product to Testo for disposal.

3 Description of the instrument

3.1 Use

The testo 440 is used for measuring climate-related parameters. The testo 440
is particularly suitable for comfort level measurements for the workplace
evaluation and disturbance measurements in and at air conditioning systems.
The instrument is only to be used by qualified expert personnel.
Then product must not be used in potentially explosive atmospheres!
