OC-192c POS Single-mode Optical Fiber Cable
(Core Diameter: 10 μm, SC Twin-Core Connector)
This is used for the connection with OC-192c POS interface.
The boundary with OC-192c POS is the connector on GS4000.
In case of using NP192-1S, the maximum transmission distance between the devices with an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125μm (wave length: 1310nm) is 2Km.
In case of using NP192-1S4, the maximum transmission distance between the devices with an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125μm (wave length: 1550nm) is 40Km.
Figure 3.2-12 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-17/3.2-18 show the
specification of optic fiber interfaces.
