How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to C-Setup /
C-Monitor / C-Scape.
2. The C-Nav3050® receiver can now be connected directly to an available
USB port on a PC via the USB end of the Y-cable shown below:
Y-Cable Positronic 9-Pin to USB & DB9S (232/422)
(P/N NAV94-310273-3006LF)
Windows will then proceed to search for the driver. This will cause a new device
to be added to the Device Manager in Control Panel.
Under Ports (COM & LPT) there should now be a device named either
A. C-Nav3050® GNSS Receiver:
Or
B. SOLARIS VIRTUAL COM:
If the latter is the case it is required to install the USB driver for the C-Nav3050®
receiver to be assigned an available virtual serial port via the USB interface.
