Possible Cause
Power not or incorrectly supplied to the
unit
The time is lost after a power failure.
The unit is not earthed properly and
electric fields provoke wrong entries to
the PCAP touch
Interface cable not plugged properly
Construction and Functionality
Recommended Action
Check that X1 is wired correctly. Measure
the voltage supplied.
Periodically synchronise using the
Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Earthing via terminal X1 or a flat contact.
Users should earth before operating the
touch screen.
Check that all interface cables are
plugged properly.
