You can see the
elongation of the chain
through the slot (A)
in the protective case.
The lever (B) of the chain
tensioner moves from
the top (new/shortened
chain) downwards
(elongated chain) as the
chain length increases.
If the lever is no longer
visible in the slot, the chain
must be shortened.
Alternatively, install a sensor
(E, 3 842 551 761 / ø8 mm,
max. length incl. bending
radius of the cable: 45 mm)
in the attachment tab.
Switching distance
1.5+0.5mm
The vane (C) damps the
sensor when the maximum
permissible chain length
is reached.
Please note:
• Be sure to comply with
the switching distance;
otherwise, the sensor will
be mechanically destroyed
• For control, lead the cable
out through the cutout in
the protective case.
