  • Page 3 ER-808 – Assembly Guide _____________________________________________________________________________________ Resistors Arrange the resistors by value on the workbench in the same order as listed in the BOM and install each numbered part for that value before moving onto the next. Install the resistors on the TOP of the board. Take care not to mix up resistors which have similar color codes.
  • Page 4 ER-808 – Assembly Guide _____________________________________________________________________________________ Use a minimum amount of solder where other parts will be soldered on top of them and cut the leads as close as possible to the PCB (C4). Insert in the TOP of the board with the LED facing out, and use the panel to align the LED. Solder the LED and clip the leads.

This must be installed with the correct orientation or the module will be damaged when the power is connected. The PROTRUSION on the socket should face the edge of the board, as shown in the photo.

  • Page 7 ER-808 – Assembly Guide _____________________________________________________________________________________ Lighted switch Carefully insert the leads into the holes for the switch pins and LED pins. The plastic legs of the switch must be flat onto the surface of the PCB. Any plastic legs which are fouled by other component pins should be cut off so the switch can lie flat.
