How to use the auto-cropping feature

Click Start
Lenovo All-In-One Center.

Click See More Scan Settings.

Click Display Advanced Scan Settings.

Click the Scan tab.

Select Auto-crop the scanned item.

Adjust the slider to the left to crop less or to the right to crop more.

Click OK.
To turn auto-cropping off:

Click Start

Click See More Scan Settings.

Click Display Advanced Scan Settings.

Click Select area to be scanned, and then select a scan area from
the drop-down menu.

Click OK.

Fax troubleshooting

•
Make sure the computer and the printer are on.
•
Make sure the computer is connected to an active analog phone
line. A phone connection to the fax modem in the computer is
required for faxing to function.
•
The memory may be full. Wait until the faxes in memory have been
sent, and then send the current fax again.
•
If you have an external modem, make sure the modem is turned on.
