WARNING: Do not use the trampoline
until it is completely assembled.
Failure to follow these instructions
may cause rods to break or eject from
the frame.

Step 13: Attaching every ifth
rod to the mat
Working from right to left, count four empty
sockets in the edge of the mat. Mount the ifth;
this leaves four unconnected rods between
groups (Figure 13-A).
Continue around the tramp from right to
left, mounting every ifth mat socket to the cor-
responding rod.
Tip:
Push the rod in
with your right hand,
palm facing up, and
with your elbow to
hip, while pulling
the mat socket left
and up with the left
hand. This method
uses your body
weight to lex the rods
(rather than pure arm
strength), and it also
keeps your face away
from the loaded rods
(Figure 13-B).

Tip:
Make sure the
safety clip in the
mat-edge socket
has closed behind
clip
the ball. If the ball is
properly installed, you
should not be able to
slide the ball out of
the mat socket
(Figure 12-C).

Tip:
It is easiest to
mount the rod ball
to the itting by
pushing the rod in
and up towards the
mat, while pulling the
mat itting to the left.
The ball then pushes
back naturally into
the itting (some rods
will need to be bent a

long way at irst).
