Figure 11 shows:
1. The middle icon appears when the signal is maximal.
2. The current maximum detection depth is 20 mm, long press button 1 to switch to a maximum depth of 38 mm.
3. When the middle icon is displayed, the properties of the currently measured object are displayed here, as follows:
NOTE
• Sometimes, due to different environmental factors, the instrument may not be automatically calibrated, and the alarm signal
may be incorrect, and must be calibrated manually. The calibration method is a short press of the Wooden Profile Detection Mode
button and the display screen displays the interface, as shown in FIG 9.
• If the tool has just been calibrated on a wooden slat, move the tool out of the range of the wooden slat and only detect it when the
wooden slat is tested again.
• If you get incorrect scan results, the cause may be moisture in a wall or plasterboard bay or recent use of partially dried paint or
wallpaper. Moisture may not always be visible, but it can interfere with the tool's sensors. Leave the walls to dry for a few days.
• For some environmental factors or uneven surfaces it is difficult to detect nails in wood detection mode. By changing the metal
detection pattern to locate the nails holding the material, it is easier to find these objects.
