Chapter 3 — Developing and Installing Applications

SD Card" on page 17.
To upgrade the operating system
Download the latest upgrade ZIP file from the Intermec web

site to your desktop PC.
Unzip the files on your desktop PC.

Place the SD card in the SD card reader.

Copy the nk.bin and eboot.bin files to your SD card. Place
4
the files in the SDMMC Disk folder.
Insert the SD card into the CN2G.

Open the battery door and remove the battery.

Using the end of the stylus, press the Reset button on the
7
inside of the battery compartment.
Do not use force or a sharp object when pressing the
Reset button. You may damage the Reset button.
While holding the D key, install the battery. Keep holding
8
the D key until the CN2 Bootloader Menu appears.
Install the battery door and place the CN2G in a
9
communications dock.
Use the arrow keys to select Update OS + Bootloader, and
10
press Enter. Messages about the download status appear at
the bottom of the screen.
