    Electrical Safety • When you unpack your training model, inspect the product and make sure all electronic access ports are sealed shut. If any ports are open or accessible, report this immediately to CAE Blue Phantom Customer Support. • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the access panel or port cover of models containing electronic components or an automated pumping system.

    Cautions and Warnings Fluids System • Use only CAE Blue Phantom fluids. Other fluids can affect the imaging quality and promote fungal or bacterial growth, and may void your warranty. Use fluids only as directed. • Do not substitute any other fluid unless indicated by this guide.

    Ultrasound Training Model Anatomy CAE Blue Phantom training models are constructed using our patented Simulex™ ultrasound tissue which has imaging characteristics that mimic human tissue. The models contain skeletal components so the user will encounter the same imaging landmarks as in a human patient.

    With correct use, the model should not require refilling. To maintain the fluid level within the model, reinject any withdrawn fluid during training. This model can be refilled only at the factory. If refilling is necessary, contact CAE Customer Support. Replacing the Inserts Upper and lower arm inserts can be replaced only at the factory.
