    5. OPENING YOUR SAFE Locate the override key attached to the product packaging. Remove the backup key cover carefully by placing a flat end screw driver into the slot and pry LOCK UNDER it upwards. KEY COVER Turn the key clockwise from 12 to 3 o’clock to unlock your safe.

    6. E-LOCK BATTERY INSTALLATION WARNING: The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product and discarded safely. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline or standard (carbon – zinc) batteries. Do not use rechargeable (nickel –...

    7. E-LOCK SECURITY CODE SETUP (continued) Press “LOCK” to confirm. There will be Successful: 2 beeps with a flashing green light. It 2X green lights and 2X beeps means the new code was successful. 4. If the red light flashes twice and Unsuccessful, beeps, the code failed.

    8. UNLOCKING YOUR SAFE (Continued) Note: If 3 invalid code attempts are made in succession, this will cause 5 beeps while the red light flashes 5 times. The user will be locked out for 60 seconds. You can still use your backup key at anytime to open the safe. If invalid code is entered again, you will hear 5 beeps while the red light flashes 5 times and the user will be locked out for 5 minutes.

    12. PROPER PLACEMENT AND MOVING OF SAFE WARNING: SAFES ARE VERY HEAVY AND AWKWARD TO HANDLE. PLEASE USE THE UTMOST CARE IN MOVING THE SAFE. UTILIZING A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL WITH PROPER MOVING EQUIPMENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. To maximize burglary protection and stability, securing the safe to the floor is recommended.

    13. SECURING YOUR SAFE WARNING: YOUR SAFE IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ITSELF WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED. HOWEVER, CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO AVOID TIPPING. WHILE SECURING YOUR SAFE BE SURE TO HAVE A SECOND PERSON HOLD AND STABILIZE THE SAFE TO KEEP IT FROM TIPPING, CAUSING INJURY, AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE SAFE AND SURROUNDING STRUCTURES.

    14. LOADING YOUR SAFE Store documents or heat sensitive items in the bottom of the safe for greatest protection against fire damage. Store ammunition separately from valuables. Do not put anything in your safe that will put pressure against the door when it is closed.

SA Consumer Products, Inc. will repair or replace, at their sole discretion, any Sports Afield Safe with defective parts, paint or lock for three years of the the original owner purchase date.
