Chapter 6 Power Saving Functions

6-1. Setting Power Save

This function allows you to specify whether to set the monitor in the power saving mode, depending on
the state of an external device connected to it. When the monitor has shifted to the power saving mode,
the images on the screen are not displayed.
Attention
• When not using the monitor, you can turn off the main power supply or disconnect the power plug so that the
power is cut completely.
• When the monitor is in power saving mode, or when the monitor is turned off, devices connected to the USB
downstream port will still work. Therefore, power consumption of the monitor varies depending on the connected
devices, even in the power saving mode.
• Five seconds before the monitor enters the power saving mode, it displays a preliminary message.
