The appliance is equipped with a thermostatic cut-out with automatic reset which is tripped in case of
thermal overload to protect the device against any overheating.
3. Maintenance and care of the battery.
Ensure that your battery is always fitted securely.
A perfect connection to the cable network of the electrical system must be ensured at all times.
Keep the battery clean and dry.
Apply a thin coating of grease to the connection terminals using an acid-free, acid-resistant grease.
4. Specific rules for safety and work
The series of battery chargers are not only designed to charge lead-acid batteries,
Gel Batteries and AGM Batteries. It can not be used as DC power source or other purposes, in order to
avoid accidents such as fire and power shock.
The chager is only designed to correct power outlet. If the supply cable needs to be extended, ensure
the wire is of a sufficient size for the supply of current over the distance required.
When the charger is disrupted or any other damages caused by any heavy strike, the use shall be
immediately stopped.
Do not dismantle the charger. If repairs are required, these must be performed by a qualified serviceman.
Incorrect reassembly may result in a fire hazard and/or electric shock
Disconnect the charger from any connected battery and the mains supply prior to cleaning the casing.
Finish charging, disconnected the battery charger from the supply mains.
Then remove the battery connection.
Warning: Explosive gases. Prevent flames and sparks. Provide adequate ventilation during charging.
The battery charger can not be used for non-rechargeable batteries.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
The battery terminal not connected to the chassis has to be connected first. The other connection is to
be made to the chassis, remote from the battery and fuel line. The battery charger is then to be connected
to the supply mains.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Batteries store a large amount of energy. Be sure to avoid shorting circuiting the battery or charger
terminals to cause the battery to try and release this energy immediately which can result in fire or personal
injury.
4.1 Work Environment and Placement
The charger shall be put in places that are well-ventilated, dry, sunshine-free, heat-free and erosive
gas-free. It shall be kept as distant as possible from storage battery when the direct current cable allows
and be placed stable to avoid falling.
1.
Temperature of working environment: -10 — 40
2.
Temperature of storing environment: -10 — 50
3.
Never place the charger directly on the battery or battery on the charger which is very dangerous.
4.
During charging, if the temperature of battery exceeds 400C, current shall be reduced. If
temperature exceeds 450C, charging shall be stopped. Charging shall not be recommenced until the
battery temperature reduces to safe limits.
4.2 Connection instruction:
Connect AC power without battery: back light on, flicker and show 0.0V and clamp mark.
Connect battery without AC: No display.
Connect AC power and battery: back light on, flicker and show the voltage of clamp.
Take over the clamps when charging or finish charging: flicker and show 0.0V and clamp mark.
Connect AC power, clamp reversal: flicker and show reversal connection mark.
Connect AC power also battery and start charging, there is voltage on clamps but without current or
current is too small. It means the clamps didn't connect stability to battery. For example, the battery port
was covered by oxide and so on. In this situation, the screen flicker and show clamp voltage and mark.
