The standard lifting eyes on BBA pump units, both in low-noise enclosure and open
frame, are NOT designed to lift the additional weight of trailers or other components.
It is strictly forbidden to use the standard lifting provision to lift or move the pump
units with a higher total weight than stated in the specification sheets. This can result
in a life-threatening situation.
3.1

Moving the pump unit with a forklift

Forklift pockets (if present) can be used for moving the pump unit with a forklift. The forks of the forklift
must be inserted into these pockets to lift the pump unit.
