Problem
Thumping noise in the pump.

If appear some pump defect and cannot find fault immediately contact
Uprent technical department.
Possible cause
Vacuum build-up is extremely
high (close to full vacuum).

Pump speed is too high.
Incorrect direction of rotation
(only electric driven pumps).

Incorrect direction of rotation
The operating speed is too high
Possible cause
Defective fuse.
Not receiving any power).
Coupling between motor and
pump is defective
Thermal protection switch of the
start/delta switch cuts out.
Solution
Adjust the vacuum regulator
valve on the stone catcher to
max. 8.5 metres on the gauge.
Solution
Decrease diesel engine RPM or
motor speed (VFD).
Reverse direction of rotation
(only electric driven pumps).
Solution
Reverse direction of rotation
Reduce operating speed
Solution
Check fuse and replace if
necessary
Check electrical connections
Replace the coupling
Turn switch from stars to delta
