Unscrewing the nipple increases the bleed air from the vacuum regulator valve.
10. Check whether both vacuum gauges (1 and 2) on the stone catcher show the same reading. If the
readings differ, the grate in the stone catcher needs to be cleaned.
11. Open cover (3) and clean stone cather.
12. Let the engine run for five minutes before the pump is connected to the dewatering system.
WARNING
The pump must never pump against a closed shut-off valve! Otherwise there is a
danger of explosion in the pump or the piping system.
