Functional description

The EMS400S carrier controller consists of a CPU and a PSB-C module. It is used to control
the drive of the EMS carrier for travel along the rail system.
Relevant data is exchanged between the plant segment controller and carrier controller via
the two RAIL contact conductors that form part of the EMS rail.
The required S7 project can be programmed without restrictions in TIA Portal. A sample

You may use the IR remote control to transmit commands directly to the carrier controller.
The respective receiver is installed in the display unit. Message that relate to the carrier
controller can be visualized on the display unit.
