12. Troubleshooting

The pressure switch you have purchased is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is safe to operate.
Nevertheless, problems and faults might occur. Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible
faults:
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Problem
The garden pump switches on and
off continuously or occasional au-
tomatic run of the garden pump
Pressure switch signals a dry run
although water is in the hoses
The garden pump does not switch
off
No water is pumped

13. Disposal

Electric and electronic products must not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

Solution
• Check the hose system for leakiness.
• Water pressure is too strong. Use between garden pump and
pressure hose a so-called pressure reducer. The max. pressure
for the pressure switch is approximately 10bar.
• Check the hose system for leakiness.
• Fill the garden pump.
• Fill the suction hose; use a non-return valve. Thus, you facilitate
and speed up the suction operation.
• Open the stop valve in the suction hose.
• Check the filter of the water pump.
