If used outdoors, the camera has to be mounted into a corresponding weather-proof housing. Unfavorable local conditions may shorten the life of the product or lead to malfunctions.

    Possible damage to the sensor caused by improper cleaning. Only use approved methods and products for sensor cleaning. For more information please contact the Dallmeier support. Remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap. Screw the lens carefully into the CS lens mount (D).

If establishing a connection to the camera with Microsoft Internet Explorer the Dallmeier control for ActiveX for displaying the live video can be downloaded and installed. NOTE The Dallmeier control for ActiveX is not essential for the configuration of the camera.

    ® DF3000IP(-DN) / DF3000IP(-DN) CasinoCam Displaying the live image In addition to displaying the live video in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the current live image from the camera can be requested using any of the other supported browsers. NOTE MJPEG must be set as the encoder mode in the Encoder settings dialog (see below) to display the current live image from the camera in a browser.

    ® DF3000IP(-DN) / DF3000IP(-DN) CasinoCam Motion detection The Motion detection function checks whether and how much the contents of two consecutive pictures are different. If the difference satisfies the set criteria, the function assumes a Motion event. This motion event can trigger various functions or actions.

Major change required Minor change required Sensitivity (slider) The sensitivity is entered as a percentage value. It defines the minimum number of unchanged picture sectors that are required for the complete picture not to be assessed as an event.

Bitrate The bit rate is a measure of the degree of compression of video data; it thus has a direct impact on the image quality of the recording.

In this case the so-called interlace effect, which may occur after merging two fields into a frame, is calculated from the frame. However, whether this aim is achieved depends on a large number of influences.
