We recommend degreasing to achieve thorough cleaning and to remove all residues of old lubricant, which may contain destructive particles.     BEFORE USING THE MACHINE * IMPORTANT! Check and tighten all bolts, nuts and all connections and specially the clamp sleeve for the pulley Check clamp sleeve for the pulley. The bolts should be tightened at regular intervals. Tighten and check the belt tension if neces- sary.

    Operate at 540 rpm, start at the lowest possible speed, make sure the mower works efficiently with the engine on 540 rpm without effort. Stop and check that the cutting unit is set correctly after the first 10 meters. Before maintenance, service, connection and disconnection of the machine, the tractor engine must switched off and the ignition key removed.

    CHECKING BELT TENSION Belt guard Type of belt: BX17X1016 Behind the cover there is a greasing point BILD1 CHECK AND TIGHTEN THE V-BELT AFTER 1 HOUR DRIVE !! CHECK BELT TENSION REGULARLY The belt should move 20 mm (10 mm on each side) under pressure.

    BELT ADJUSMENT Fastening bolts Adjuster Release the fastening bolts for the gearbox and the pul- ley (see images). Then adjust the adjusting bolt until the belts are tight enough. CHECK AND TIGHTEN THE BELTS AT REGULAR INTERVALS. A NEW MACHINE SHOULD BE CHECKED AND THE BELTS TIGHTENED AFTER 2 HOURS OF OPERATION.

    MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE Make sure the implement is stable and there’s no risk of falling over during maintenance and ser- vice. Replace damaged and worn parts immediately to reduce the risk of machine failure and in- juries. Perform maintenance, service and inspections as recommended. Use only spare parts with equivalent performance to reduce the risk of damage and failure.
