BPH-100 Post Hole Digger
Operating the BPH-100 Post Hole Digger (continued):
Once the operation has started, DO NOT move the tractor. The brake must be set securely to prevent
movement of the tractor. Damage to the auger, gearbox and the PTO can occur if the tractor moves while
the auger is in the hole.
Completely remove the auger from the hole before moving the tractor.
Disengage the PTO when transporting, even for a short distance.
Never attempt to shovel dirt away from a rotating auger. The shovel can be caught by the auger causing
serious injury or death. If the auger becomes stuck, disengage PTO, turn off tractor, remove key and dig
around auger to free it.
Never leave the tractor seat while operating the implement. Serious injury or death can occur.
