    Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be inadvertently energized. For variable frequency drives or other energy storing components provided by Trane or others, refer to the appropriate manufacturer’s literature for allowable waiting periods for discharge of capacitors. Verify with an appropriate voltmeter that all capacitors have discharged.

    Installation 1. Before beginning installation, remove power from the Unit. 2. Check to make sure all necessary parts were included in the kit. 3. 12 ½ - 25 ton units: Use the two #8-32 x ½" screws to mount the bracket to holes in front of the ReliaTel RTRM board in the Voyager control box.

  • Page 8 Installation 4. Remove the cover from the Wireless Receiver by firmly pressing the thumb tab at the bottom of the cover and pulling the cover away from the back plate. 5. Arrange the receiver back plate on the mounting bracket so that the release thumb tab is at the top of the bracket.
