Discomfort/Instability
User must be seated at least one (1) hour to adapt to the insert, if discomfort
persist.
Verify that :
D The insert is not under-inflated or over-inflated (see Recommendations).
D The air cells of the insert are facing upwards and the insert cover is properly
installed.
D The size of the insert is well adapted to the user and the wheelchair.
D The insert is soft and pliable, exposure to cold temperature increases
stiffness (see Recommendations).
D No foreign object (food, creased fabric, etc.) is placed between the user and
the insert.
Trouble inflating the insert
D Verify that the metal adapter of the pressure gauge is firmly screwed on the
inflation valve of the insert.
D Ensure the safety valve of the hand pump is tightly closed.
D Check the inflation tube(s) and valve(s) of the insert for damage.
D Check the inflation tube and the inflation and safety valves of the hand
pump for damage.
