Maintenance Chart

The following maintenance intervals apply for normal operating conditions. If your
daily working time is longer than normal or cutting conditions are difficult (very
dusty work area, etc.), shorten the specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Control handle
Air filter
Pick up body in fuel tank
Fuel tank
Carburetor
Spark plug
Cooling inlets
Valve clearance
Combustion Chamber
Spark arresting screen in muffler*
All accessible screws and nuts (not
adjusting screws)

Visual inspection (condition, leaks)
Clean
Check operation
Clean
Replace
Have checked by servicing dealer
Have replaced by servicing dealer
Clean
Check idle adjustment – cutting tool
must not turn
Readjust idle
Readjust electrode gap
Replace after about 100 hours of
operation
Inspect
Clean
Check and adjust if necessary, after
about 139 hours of operation
Decarbonizing after 139 hours of
operation, then every 150 hours of
operation.
