MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Wash the jug and filter holder normally with water and a neutral detergent.
Never use abrasives so as not to scratch or damage the appearance of the
jug. Use soapy water to clean the plastic parts and hot plate.
Preferably, the filter holder should be washed immediately after use.
The base, water tank and hot plate should not be submerged in water to
prevent electrical problems. Clean only with a damp cloth. Immediately
clean away any drops of water or coffee that may have fallen onto the
hot plate and the base of the coffee maker.
Clean the body of the product using only a cloth dampened with water
and neutral soap. Any other cleaning product may cause damage to the
product.
STORAGE
Before saving, unplug the appliance and wait for the base to cool.
STORING THE CORD. The Heliora Grande coffee maker has a compartment
especially designed for storing the power cord when storing the coffee
maker, saving space.
ATTENTION
• Always use cold water to fill the water tank, either for preparing coffee
or for cleaning.
• When using for the first time, some smoke may appear due to excessive
lubrication of the internal parts. The smoke will disappear after a short
time.
• Before storing the product, check that the water tank is empty, thereby
preventing moisture from adversely affecting operation of the coffee
maker.
• Avoid contact with product parts that have heated up. Keep hair, clothing,
as well as other utensils at a distance in order to avoid accidents.
• To avoid burns, do not put any part of your body or objects inside the
product, or allow them to contact the hot plate.
• In order not to damage the product or cause defects, never wash the
parts in the dishwasher.
