DRIP-STOP SYSTEM
Located in the filter holder slot, this device automatically interrupts
filtration momentarily when the jug is removed from the coffee maker.
This device allows you to serve coffee while it is being prepared.

GLASS JUG

The Heliora Grande jug is heat-resistant, with a lid and plastic handle.
Attention: the jug has a metal band. It can therefore not be used in a
microwave oven. Don't use the jar directly over flames or place it down on
cold surfaces when it is hot in order to avoid breakage by thermal shock.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The instructions for use and illustrations below will help you to use the
product correctly.
CLEANING BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
It is recommended that you operate the coffee maker with water at least two
times to clean the inside. Fill the water tank with cold water only and close the
lid (fig. 1). Next, place the jug fully covered on the hot plate (fig. 2).
Close the filter holder until it is locked and turn on the coffee maker's
switch letting it run until all the water in the reservoir reaches the jug.
Repeat the water tank cleaning operation every time the machine has not
been used for a long time.

USING THE COFFEE MAKER

1. Lift the upper lid and add the water. Close the upper lid (fig. 1).
2. Open the filter holder and use the provided permanent filter or add a
paper filter (No. 2) which can be purchased in supermarkets (fig. 3).
3. With the measuring spoon, add the desired amount of coffee
according to preference (fig. 4). Close the upper lid.
4. Place the jug on the hot plate using the coffee maker handle in
accordance with figure 2. Check that the jug is properly placed on the
hot plate.
5. Press the power button. The light on the button will come on indicating
that the appliance is in operation.
