    General Safety Instructions The operation of a Bituminous Distributor normally requires handling of liquid products at elevated tempera- ture. Also, these liquids may be of a volatile nature. A heating system is supplied to raise or maintain the product temperature, and these systems use highly combustible fuels. As with any type of construction equipment, there are certain hazards associated with careless or improper operation.
