Adjusting the laser line, Fig. 12.1-12.2
• In order to adjust the laser beam you first have to take
a timber block, perfectly sawed in a right angle (dimen-
sions approx. 100 mm width and 300 mm length).
Draw a line parallel to one of the long sides, approx.
10 mm away from the edge.
• Set the cross-cutting jig (13) at 0° (in right angle to
saw blade) and hold the short side of the timber block
against the cross-cutting jig.
• While holding the timber block parallel using the stop
of the cross-cutting jig, move it until the saw teeth are
touching the marked line.
• Switch on the laser using the laser ON/OFF switch (Fig.
12.1).
• In order to adjust the laser line, first release both laser
adjustment screws (Fig. 12.2).
• Turn and move the laser unit from one side to the other
until the laser line is set according to the marked line
on the timber block. Note: According to your require-
ments you can adjust the laser line to run along the
sides or through the middle of the cutting line.
• Fasten the laser adjustment screws (2).
• Check the settings and adjust if so required.
