5.- IF attenuation:

It sets the IF amplifier attenuation in a range between 0 and 10 dB. The last position "- -" switches the IF ampli-
fier OFF.

6.- LNB powering:
To select this option, press the
This option switches all of the LEDs OFF.
It allows us to select the powering voltage of the satellite LNB in the input connector of the IF amplifier between
13 or 17 Vdc.

REMARK: If the buttons

Generation of error messages
To facilitate the installer when setting up the system, the programming unit generates a series of error messages
that inform the user when an incorrect operation is occurring. The error messages can be divided into:
1.- Configuration errors
The "Avant" system is designed in such a way that it does not allow the programming of the same channel in two
different single-channels. If the user tries to programme a non-authorised channel, the display will blink indicating to the
installer that he/she should change one of channels that is generating the error.
Ex.:
Each time that in the menu the single-channels 1 or 5 are selected, the display will blink indicating to the user
that he/she should change one of them.
If the user does not correct the error and presses the adjustment button
error message will appear on the programming unit that will indicate the impossibility of this adjustment with this
channel configuration.
