To select the maximum output level, the installer must take into account all the UHF and VHF TV channels that
he/she wishes to amplify, including those present in the wideband input port (47-862 MHz). Then the highest figure from
the total UHF and the total VHF channels is taken for selecting the maximum UHF output level according to the table
below.
Max. number of channels (UHF or VHF)
Maximum UHF output level (dBµV)

The BI/BIII input is reserved for the amplification of a single UHF TV channel, adjusting the output level of the said
channel so that it is 5 dB below the maximum UHF level. We will use the wideband input port for the amplification of
BI/BIII channels coming from satellite receivers.
REMARK: In order for the output levels of the channels in the wideband input (MATV) to coincide with those pro-
grammed, these must have an input level between 70 ... 75 dBµV for VHF and
dBµV for UHF.

The LED "C" is ON with this option.
Use this menu to set the slope of the output response between 0 to 9, only for the programmable single-chan-
nels. The reference level is that corresponding to the highest frequency UHF TV channel. Channels at the wideband input
port are not affected by this slope.

In the table, we take the next greater figure in the UHF/VHF row, which is 12.
Therefore the maximum output level that we should choose with the programming
unit is 113 dBµV, which corresponds with the max. UHF output level. The VHF level
is 5 dB less (108 dBµV).
