Compatibility

AGP Inserts with removable HRD top - SN# 2402-002235 to 2112-001250.
NOTE: Units made after SN# 2112-001250 will have the removable hopper funnel and do not need this kit.

Packing List

Tools Needed

11/32" nut driver
1/4" nut driver
5/16" nut driver
3/8" nut driver
Phillips screwdriver
Diagonal cutters

Installation

Make sure the stove has fully cooled (approximately 45 minutes) before conducting service. Unplug the
stove to prevent electrical shock.
1. Remove the insert side covers. Each side cover is secured to the insert with two screws (see left
picture below). Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen these screws but do not remove them.

  • Page 2 AGP Insert Hopper Replacement (SKU 250-05675) 2. Slide the (2) insert side covers forward and set aside for reinstallation. The tabs on the side panels have keyhole slots that engage the screws NOTE: Later, when re-installing the side panel, make sure the tabs on the panel insert into the slots on the front of the insert.

Remove the Control board assembly from the surround panel by loosening the wing nut and then slide the assembly up to disengage the bottom tabs from the bracket on the panel. After the bottom is free, slide the assembly downward until the assembly is free from the wingnut stud.

Pull the panels a little forward of the insert to gain access to the back of the control board and disconnect the wire harness. Carefully guide the surround panel over the hopper lid taking care to prevent scratching the paint.
  • Page 5 AGP Insert Hopper Replacement (SKU 250-05675) 6. Disconnect the (2) wires from the hopper lid switch from the main harness using the quick connects shown below. 7. Remove the (5) 11/32” nuts that secure the hopper lid to the insert (set aside for reinstallation).
