TROUBLESHOOTING

FAULT TYPE
The belt cracks
(the timing belt jumps onto the
gear sprocket)
The belt squeaks
(the belt is skewed)
The slide jerks
The lifter does not respond
The lifter works very slowly
CHECK THE FOLLOWING
Is the belt slack?
Is the belt worn?
Is the belt running skewed in the
track on the top sprocket?
Is the belt worn?
Is there dirt in the mast on which
the slide runs?
Is there dirt on the slide wheels?
Check whether the item being
lifted is heavier than the lifter's
capacity
Check the main fuse
Check that the batteries are
charged and not defective
Check the voltage of the batteries

RESOLVED BY
Tighten the belt with the two screws at
the top of the mast.
Replace the belt
Adjust the screw at the top of the mast,
on the side to which the belt is skewed.
Replace the belt
Remove the dirt and wipe with alcohol.
Remove the dirt or replace the wheels.
Remove the item
Replace the main fuse (below the top
cover screen on the legs)
Connect the charger and try to lift with
the charger attached (with no load). If it
rises, recharge the batteries. If this does
not work replace the batteries
Connect the charger
