Replacing the System Board
5 Remove the old system board by rotating the lever upwards and then
sliding the board out of the PC.
6 First ensure the lever is open, then carefully slide the new system
board into the PC, aligning the board with the rear connector bracket
correctly.
On desktop models, ensure that the board is properly aligned with
the guide rail on the fan unit.
7 Pushing on the lever and on the system board edge, slide the system
board firmly into place. Ensure the connectors are well aligned and
fully engaged.
8 Install the main memory, processor (described in this chapter) and
any power and data connections to the new system board.
