Cause
Key does not work in the current
operation mode
Buffer value does not match
value displayed or electrode is
disconnected or failing
• Electrode not connected,
• Electrode clogged, dirty or
broken
• Meter not calibrated
• Measurement is under range or
over range
Corrective Action
Release key and select valid
keys depending on mode
Use fresh buffer solution, check
electrode connection or
possibly replace electrode
• Make sure electrode is
connected
• Clean or replace electrode
Recalibrate the meter
• Treat samples to bring within
meter measuring range
Remedial Action
Switch on the power supply
Fill electrode with reference electrolyte
Replace electrode
Remove or switch off interfering
device
Clean the electrode, hydrate and then
rejuvenate if necessary
Clean the electrode, hydrate and then

Cancel Hold mode by pressing the
