battery provides three hours of standby backup power under normal operation with
four COSEC DOORs apart from the PANEL getting power from the same power
supply.

The PANEL is capable of providing 700 mA at 13.8 VDC for battery charging. The
PANEL has deep discharge protection built in for the protection of the battery. If the
battery discharges below 10.5 V, the PANEL disconnects the battery and indicates
the Battery Fail alarm.
Replace the battery every two to two-and-a-half years, or more often if the PANEL
and connected DOORs have a high rate of backup use.
Step 4: Connecting the COSEC PANEL to the Ethernet
