Backs of pages stained with ink

The backs of pages are stained after they are printed and ejected from the printer.

S GRAYSCALE PRINTING BEING PERFORMED
If you are performing grayscale printing, the backs of the pages may be
stained with ink. You may be able to eliminate this problem by reducing the
black density on the printer driver setting screen.
Windows
Open the Printer Properties dialog box and click the Advanced button in the

Main tab.
Click the Color tab.

Use the Black slide bar to change the print density setting.

If this does not produce an improvement, try using the optional BC-34e
Photo BJ Cartridge to perform your printing.
Macintosh
When using Manual for printing, click the Details button in the Printer

Properties dialog box.
In the Color panel, use the Black slide bar to change the print density

setting.
