ZVR-500 RECEIVER
To edit the existing caption press the <E> key, this will clear the old caption from the screen ready for the
new one to entered.
You may now enter the new caption as required (up to 20 characters), when complete press the ENT key to
terminate the string and then save the caption by pressing the <S> key.
Repeat this procedure for any further sectors required.
SWITCHING CAPTIONS ON and OFF
Select the Caption option from the Quica ZVR-500 menu by pressing the <C> key.
The current status of both the static and dynamic captions will be displayed, Selecting the flashing letter will
toggle the associated type of caption from ON to OFF.

RECEIVER SET-UP
The RECEIVER SET-UP menu provides configuration options for ALARMS,DIAGNOSTICS and the
CAMERA HEAD.
ALARMS
The ZVR-500 has 8 alarm inputs which can be set for either Normally open or Normally Closed contacts via
a link on the PCB.The menu option allows the alarms to be globally enabled or disabled.
To enable the alarms press the <A> key.Pressing the <A> key a second time will disable the alarm inputs.
DIAGNOSTICS
The DIAGNOSTICS menu allows on-board monitoring of COMMS,PSU ,CAMERA SYNC and displaying of a
POLL to be switched on or off.Any diagnostic failures will subsequently be displayed on a third line of OSD
text.
To switch PSU diagnostics monitoring on press the <P> key.To switch it off press the <P> key a second
time.
To switch SYNC diagnostics monitoring on press the <S> key.To switch it off press the <S> key a second
time.
To switch COMMS diagnostics monitoring on press the <C> key.To switch it off press the <C> key a second
time.
To switch POLL displayon press the <O> key.To switch it off press the <O> key a second time.
PTZF SWAP
The PTZF SWAP facility is an engineering function to reverse the polarities of the Pan,Tilt, Zoom and Focus
drives.The facility is also used to format the camera head potentiometers in order that presets etc can be
correctly configured.
When a receiver is initially installed the direction of PTZF functions shuold be checked and reconfigured
where necessary using the following keys.
