    DO NOT EXPOSE THIS EQUIPMENT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE Site the ZVR-300 in a suitable location.If you have a PCB format version fix it using the five mounting holes (one at each corner of the PCB and one adjacent to IC16) provided.

    Comms,RS422 Comms,Zoom and Focus. ADDRESS SETTINGS If the ZVR-300 is to be controlled over twisted pair cable the address will need to be set to correspond with the camera numbering scheme.To set the Camera address follow the procedure below.The default address is 1.

    MZVR300.DOC ZVR-300 RECEIVER The ZVR-300 should now be configured by logging onto the receiver from a ZVK-XXX keyboard and following the On Screen Menus. It is important to configure the following ZVR-300 parameters in the following order before attempting to configure any other parameters.
  • Page 7 The static caption identifies the camera station and once selected will remain unchanged when the camera moves.To program a Static caption proceed as follows. Select the Captions option from the QUICA ZVR-300 menu by pressing the <C> key, the captions menu will now be displayed.
  • Page 8 CAMERA HEAD. ALARMS The ZVR-300 has 8 alarm inputs which can be set for either Normally open or Normally Closed contacts via a link on the PCB.The menu option allows the alarms to be globally enabled or disabled. To enable the alarms press the <A> key.Pressing the <A> key a second time will disable the alarm inputs.
  • Page 9 RANDOM PATROL The ZVR-300 will randomley Patrol presets from a range (2 - 16) set by MAX RANDOM PRESET.Press the <R> key to step through the range.The camera will dwell at each position for a random time period of up to 15 minutes.

    Repeat this procedure to set privacy zones 2 to 4. END STOPS The ZVR-300 has an electronic end stops facility for Pan and Tilt providing a more flexible alternative to normal mechanical end stops. Select the <E> key from the AUTO-POSITION menu to display the END STOPS menu and proceed as follows to set end stops.
