INSTALL THE DUCTWORK ROOF CAP NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, use only ROUND metal ductwork. DUCT 1. Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. 2. A straight, short duct run will allow the hood to perform most efficiently. -

INSTALL THE HOOD RECTANGULAR CUTOUTS 1. Hang the hood from the brackets through MOUNTING the rectangular cut-outs on the back of BRACKETS the hood. Cut-outs are larger than the brackets to allow for horizontal adjustment. The bottom of the hood should be 24" to 30"... -

CONNECT DUCTWORK FLUE MOUNTING BRACKET 1. Use screws and drywall anchors (supplied) to secure flue mounting bracket to the ceiling and wall as shown. 2. Use 6" round metal duct to connect the discharge collar on the hood to the ductwork above. -

MAINTENANCE Proper maintenance of the Range Hood will assure proper performance of the unit. Grease Filters The grease filters should be cleaned after every 30 hours of operation. This range hood has an operation timer which will alert you after every 30 hours of use by lighting a red GREASE FILTERS LED above the “blower speed 0-1 button”. -

OPERATION BLOWER SPEED 4 Controls BLOWER The hood is operated using the (5) push-but- SPEED 3 tons located on the right side of the hood. The light switch turns the halogen lights on BLOWER SPEED 2 and off.
