Special Program Mode
1. Turn off unit. Press and hold both the up and down buttons and turn unit
back on. Hold in on the up and down buttons until SP is displayed, then
release the up and down buttons. Display will then show "°F" or "°C".
2. Press up or down buttons to toggle from "°F"(Fahrenheit) to "°C"(Celsius) or
vice versa.
3. Press and release the SET button. "CAL" will now be displayed. Press and
hold the temperature switch and the actual temperature will be displayed.
Use the up and down buttons to calibrate to the desired temperature. Make
sure the actual temperature of the unit is stable before attempting a
calibration. A good time to calibrate the unit would be 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours
after power up.
4. Press and release the SET button. "In-" will now be displayed. Press and
hold the up or down buttons and the message will count down "In-3", "In-2",
"In-1", "In-", "SYS". Once the messages are done the control is now
initialized to factory default settings and the up or down button can be
released. The control is now in normal mode.
5. Press and release the SET button. "OP" is displayed. This message is short
for outputs. Press the temperature button to toggle the heat output. The led
above the temperature tells if the heat output is on (led lit) or off . Press the
down button to toggle the display digits and the rest of the leds.
6. Press and release the SET button. "C=Y" means the time of day clock will be
the default display. "C=n" means that " On " will be displayed.
7. This is the last step in special programming, if the Set button is pressed and
released step 2 of special programming (the changing of the temperature
scale) will be entered.
8. Exit special programming by holding in on the Set button at any step.
If a value is changed the set button must be pressed to save the new value. Don't
change a value and turn off the control or the new value will not be saved. Use step 8
to exit special programming. Make sure the Set button is not held when moving through
the different steps of special programming unless the operator wants to exit special
