Speed control

Enabling the speed control switch allows you
to maintain a speed or make small speed
adjustments to the engine speed and boat
speed (GPS).
Pattern Shift mode will be activated while in
speed control mode. Pressing the DN side on
the speed control switch further reduces the
trolling speed by decreasing shift in time.

The engine speed/boat speed when you
press the speed control switch is main-
tained, so you should not turn on the
speed control while accelerating or decel-
erating.
TIP:
Adjustments to boat speed (GPS) is available
only when upgraded to Autopilot or Joystick.
How to operate (remote control lever
operations)
1. Set the remote control levers in any posi-
tion.
Setting conditions
Forward: From the F position to an
engine speed of 6000 r/min/Reverse: R
position (Throttle fully closed)
2. When DN on the speed control switch is
pressed, the beep sounds and the LED
turns on.
3. Each time you press "UP" on the speed
control switch, the engine speed/boat
speed gradually increases; each time
you press "DN", the engine speed/boat
speed gradually decreases.

How to operate (joystick operations)
1. Set the remote control levers in any posi-
tion.
Setting conditions
Forward: From the F position to an
engine speed of 6000 r/min/Reverse: R
position (Throttle fully closed)
2. When "DN" on the speed control switch is
pressed, the beep sounds and the LED
turns on.
3. Each time you tilt the joystick forward, the
engine speed/boat
increases; each time you tilt it reverse,
the engine speed/boat speed gradually
decreases.
TIP:
• Each time you press UP or DN, the speed
increases or decreases by 50 r/min. (The
maximum is 500 r/min in 10 stages)
• You can switch between engine speed and
speed (when GPS is installed) by using the
setting on the MFD. For details, refer to the
manual for the MFD.
• When a joystick is installed, you can use
the joystick for increasing and decreasing.
• You can also adjust the speed control when
the single lever switch is enabled.
