• Be sure all people are clear of the out-
board motors when adjusting the trim
angle. There is a risk of serious injury if
anyone is crushed between the engines
and the clamp brackets during trimming
or tilting.
• Use caution when deciding the trim
position for the first time. Increase
speed gradually and carefully while
watching for any signs of instability or
control problems. Improper trim angle
can cause loss of control.
Do not operate the engines while they are
in the tilt range. If you cannot avoid oper-
ating the engines, such as while in shal-
low water, make sure the cooling water
inlets are submerged. Do not run above
idle speed and do not accelerate until the
engines are put into the trim range.
TIP:
• The PTT can be operated while the battery
switch is ON.
• You can set in advance which PTT switch
supports which engine.
How to operate (operating all outboard
motors at the same time)
1. Press the "UP" or "DN" switch on the PTT
switch on the remote control lever.
How to release
1. Stop pressing the PTT switch.

4. PTT switch (CENTER)
How to operate (operating outboard
motors separately)
1. Press the "UP" or "DN" switch on the
appropriate PTT switch.

1. Stop pressing the PTT switch.
